We get a “between the panels” complete story that’s moving, powerful, and contains some pretty big events for those that have been with the book since issue one. Author David Hazan writes a fantastic tale that’s enjoyable to new readers and long-time fans alike. With that in mind, you need to grab the Nottingham Free Comic Book Day issue. The second almost always overlooked goal is to get people to read comics that they’ve never read before. If even one person that doesn’t normally read comics becomes a comics fan then the industry has done its job.
